30/365 Of the Perfect Circle series
In the series of photographs "Perfect Circle" I collect, as you can easily guess, various objects of a round shape: balls, spheres, circles, rings, - and take a photo with the object on a black background. The series began spontaneously with a photo of a Christmas installation against the backdrop of a winter evening sky, which I slightly processed in Photoshop, and then the idea continued developed further and further.

At the end of December, my wife and I were walking around the district, and walking along the well-known paths of the Springpfuhl Park, we passed by a peculiar garden of stones - a concrete ensemble of abstract sculptures. Wikipedia suggested that the composition is called "Plastic Bodies - Big Flowers" and was created in the mid-eighties by a group of artists in the GDR: Horst Goller, Robert Reifeldt, and Wolfgang Weber.
Looking more closely at the sculptures, I realized that they are perfect for my series, you just need to darken the background with masks to isolate the sculpture. Someone will call it cheating, but it's still a photo, not a soulless generation of AI - manufactured by hand, lol.

Though there are more than three sculptures that can be put into the series, I decided to stick to the less is more principle and limit the series to three for now.
